Software Engineer Performance
Job Summary
Software Engineer Performance, responsible for performance automation of a software-defined storage platform, working full-time to design testing strategies and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance testing strategies and automation for the StorageGRID product
- Collaborate with software developers to enhance application performance and reliability
- Conduct performance analysis and suggest improvements based on benchmarking results
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering or a related field
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with enterprise storage protocols (SAN, NAS, HTTP/S3) and performance testing
- Proficiency in automation using Python, Shell/Bash, or similar programming languages
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and ability to deliver complex projects
