Software Engineer - Platform

Job Summary

To support a growing platform, the full-time remote Software Engineer - Platform will develop inter-cloud connectivity solutions, build a control plane for Sourcegraph Cloud, and expose complex infrastructure as APIs while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop inter-cloud connectivity solutions for enterprise customers using Sourcegraph Cloud
• Build a control plane to orchestrate single-tenant Sourcegraph Cloud instances
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain service reliability and uphold SLA commitments

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Go or other strongly typed languages
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC solutions and Kubernetes
• Skilled at debugging distributed systems and designing solutions
• Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, particularly in writing and documentation
