Job Summary
Passionate about theme parks, the full-time Software Engineer - React & NodeJS will build and ship features for a React Native mobile app, design and maintain Node/NestJS APIs, and optimize SQL for MySQL databases in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and ship features in the React Native mobile app from concept to release
- Design, build, and maintain Node/NestJS APIs for mobile and web experiences
- Debug production issues and improve the reliability of existing systems
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across client and server
- Hands-on experience with React Native, including app store builds and releases
- Experience building backend services in Node, preferably with NestJS or Express
- Solid SQL skills with experience in designing and querying MySQL databases
