Software Engineer, Sportsbook Platform

Job Summary

As a key member of the Sportsbook Platform team, the full-time remote Software Engineer, Sportsbook Platform will develop, scale, and optimize GraphQL APIs and gRPC endpoints while owning complex technical problems and mentoring other engineers in a collaborative agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs, gRPC endpoints, and SQL queries for the marketplace
• Own technical problems, drafting proposals and presenting them to leadership and partner teams
• Mentor engineers across teams and drive improvements in production scalability and performance

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, and distributed systems
• Experience with production systems at scale, including load testing and performance regression remediation
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks and API development, particularly with GraphQL
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and relational databases like PostgreSQL
