Software Engineer, Sportsbook Platform

Job Summary

As a key member of the Sportsbook Platform team, the full-time remote Software Engineer will develop, scale, and optimize GraphQL APIs and gRPC endpoints, while owning complex technical problems and mentoring engineers in a collaborative agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, scale, and optimize GraphQL APIs and gRPC endpoints that power the marketplace
• Own technical problems of high scope and complexity, drafting proposals and presenting them to leadership
• Design and deliver new features end-to-end while identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements in production

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures and distributed systems
• Experience with modern web frameworks and API development, particularly Phoenix
• Proficiency in relational databases, including PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and operating services in a containerized environment
