Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Software Engineer, Storage to work remotely, who will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based storage products while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance performance and contribute to the open-source Ceph project.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to research and develop new features and improve application performance
- Design and maintain storage-related contributions to the control plane in PHP and integrate orchestration code in Python
- Contribute to the open-source Ceph project, ensuring its reliability and performance meet customer goals
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on storage or distributed systems
- Proficiency in PHP and Python with experience in control plane and orchestration code development
- Understanding of cloud storage architectures and technologies
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with distributed systems and networking fundamentals
