Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer, Strategic Projects will collaborate with product-minded engineers to develop and stabilize prototypes into production-grade products, ensuring high code quality and operational rigor.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers to shape prototypes for production readiness, focusing on reliability and maintainability
- Co-own the transition from prototype to stable production, emphasizing error handling and observability
- Integrate Tailscale with reference customers, ensuring security and operational practices are upheld in production
Required Qualifications
- Experience in hardening and maintaining production software, with a focus on detail-oriented work
- Proficiency in Go and familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and basic networking
- Extensive use of coding agents and LLMs in engineering workflows, with insights on their integration into review and testing practices
