Software Engineer, Test Automation

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer, Test Automation will develop end-to-end systems for government partners, focusing on modernizing legacy platforms to enhance user experiences and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions
• Write and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results while monitoring and analyzing test outcomes
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and assist in hiring activities as needed

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of testing experience with at least 5 years in JavaScript coding
• Proven ability to develop testing strategies and advocate for test automation best practices
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Strong skills in tracking and reporting defects using tools like Jira or GitHub
• Familiarity with security testing and data protection best practices
