Software Engineer (TypeScript/JavaScript)

Job Summary

To enhance the market data platform for modern finance, a midlevel or senior Software Engineer (TypeScript/JavaScript) will work remotely or from select cities, focusing on building and maintaining a JavaScript client library while collaborating with design teams to create production-ready interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Own, build, and maintain the JavaScript client library, ensuring robustness and ease of integration for external users
• Integrate native libraries into JavaScript/TypeScript code and build responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate designs into production-ready components and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in React, Redux, and modern front-end development tools
• Hands-on experience with backend development in Python or Rust, including REST API design and database management
• Familiarity with component documentation tools like Storybook
• Experience working in high-performing design and engineering teams
• Background in trading, market data, or quantitative finance is preferred
