Software Engineering Analyst

Job Summary

Contributing to software development projects, the full-time Software Engineering Analyst will write, test, and debug code while collaborating with team members to meet project requirements and providing technical expertise in the insurance domain.

Key responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug complex software components while participating in design and code reviews
• Provide technical support and act as a subject matter expert, assisting in solving complex technical challenges
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to defining software requirements and specifications

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a CyberLife Mainframe Developer with strong software development skills
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DFSORT, and IBM supplied utilities
• Experience in the US Life & Annuity Insurance domain
• Ability to provide support to Production/Test Batch Cycle and resolve outstanding issues
• Advanced degree in a related field or relevant certifications is a plus
