Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Software Engineering to lead the application development team and manage software systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the application development team
• Manage the development lifecycle of applications, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion
• Develop and implement technology strategies aligned with company objectives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 15+ years of experience as a Java developer & AWS platform with a proven record of overseeing large cross-functional projects
• Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, REST, and JSON
• Demonstrated understanding of web and API platform technologies, including microservices and cloud technologies
• Proven experience with the full development lifecycle from concept to delivery
