Job Summary

Leading cross-functional technology delivery teams, the full-time salaried Software Engineering AVP will manage operational aspects of software development, establish relationships with business contacts, and drive engineering excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and cultivate relationships with business contacts to identify needs and implement solutions
• Champion engineering and operational excellence by establishing metrics and processes for assessment and improvements
• Hire, develop, and lead top-tier talent while ensuring alignment of project deliverables with departmental objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development with at least 4+ years in management roles
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs in complex contexts
• Familiarity with agile development environments and enterprise-scale development lifecycle processes
• Demonstrated experience managing offshore development teams and handling multiple assignments simultaneously
