Software Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow multiple software engineering teams focused on data platforms and enterprise-scale services
• Design and implement software development kits (SDKs), APIs, and microservices for data and analytics needs
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering leaders to develop a technical roadmap aligned with business objectives

Required Qualifications

• PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 12 years of experience in software development with expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• More than 5 years of leadership experience in directing engineering teams and mentoring team members
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data pipeline frameworks, and AIML technologies
