Job Summary
Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time remote Software Engineering Director will manage talent development, drive technical strategy, and ensure the delivery of innovative software solutions while also engaging as a practitioner on client projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Software Engineering team
- Establish and track OKRs and KPIs to measure success in software engineering initiatives
- Oversee hiring, succession planning, and talent development through mentorship and training opportunities
Required qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Experience managing a team of 40+ within a consulting organization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience
- 10+ years of leadership in software development and people management
- Expertise in Agile & DevSecOps-based delivery and legacy software modernization
