Job Summary

Software Engineering Manager is a full-time position responsible for leading a software development team in a biotech company, focusing on architecting, implementing, and supporting genomics tertiary analysis software.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead high-performing software development teams, ensuring timely and quality software delivery
• Manage multiple ongoing projects while collaborating with project managers and technical product managers
• Drive process improvements and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of experience in building and managing high-performing engineering teams
• 8+ years of software development experience, particularly with Java or similar languages
• Experience in developing software in a regulated environment
• Aptitude for leading remote teams effectively
