Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Software Engineering to lead backend engineering teams focused on identity, security, and communications systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 15 engineers across multiple backend teams
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and support the development of backend services and APIs
• Manage agile ceremonies, track engineering metrics, and promote engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing backend engineering teams
• 7+ years of experience in software development, including architecture, coding, and support
• Deep experience with the Microsoft stack: .NET (C#), .NET Core, Azure, and SQL Server
• Experience with GitHub-based code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
