Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of clinical reporting and interoperability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers while managing technical direction and project milestones
• Architect and implement FHIR data pipelines for report integrations and clinical workflows
• Contribute hands-on to backend reporting pipelines and ensure quality through best practices in CI/CD and automated testing

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience leading engineering teams
• 4-6 years of professional experience in Python with a focus on backend development
• Experience in system, serverless, and cloud architecture (AWS, k8s)
• Familiarity with data exchange standards (preferably FHIR) and healthcare integrations
• Background in life sciences or genetics is preferred
