Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers while remaining hands-on in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, conducting regular 1:1s and providing feedback
• Lead the architecture and implementation of critical features and systems while maintaining hands-on coding
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features and influence product strategy

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural thinking
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and Terraform
