Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for backend services and QA functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers and QA professionals in developing and maintaining backend, web, mobile, and API platforms
• Define and enforce coding standards, QA methodologies, and best practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate development and QA processes into CI/CD pipelines and manage project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years in software development and QA, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
• Experience managing concurrent engineering projects and geographically distributed teams
• Strong technical expertise in modern technology stacks, including Cloud, API, Microservices, and CI/CD tools
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., fintech) is a plus
