Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the design and development of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design and development of software applications
• Direct the work of engineers to ensure adherence to best practices in software development
• Manage subordinate staff and ensure project milestones and departmental goals are met within budget

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
• 5 years of software engineering experience, with 1-3 years in a supervisory role
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases
• 5+ years of experience with source control systems, such as GIT
• Experience managing vendor relationships and large IT projects
