Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to provide technical and people leadership for a diverse team of software developers and QA analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software developers and QA analysts, promoting professional growth and performance feedback
• Provide technical leadership for custom application development and oversee integration and support for third-party applications
• Manage resource allocation, enforce agile methodologies, and report on team performance and project status to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in C++, Node.js, .NET, Python, and relational databases
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably managing mixed teams of employees and contractors
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), agile practices, and quality assurance processes
