Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-functioning engineering group focused on delivering innovative SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach engineers through hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and career development
• Drive execution by planning and delivering work in an iterative cadence while managing scope and removing blockers
• Partner cross-functionally with product teams to ensure alignment and clear communication on project requirements and delivery

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineers and 6+ years in software engineering or equivalent
• Experience in delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions
• Proficiency in building software or web applications with Java or other object-oriented languages
• Ability to thrive in remote environments and create alignment across distributed teams
• Experience engaging with the Higher Education community is preferred
