Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Application and Software Engineering to lead software engineering teams and ensure the application environment supports business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software engineering teams and oversee the development, testing, implementation, and support of software applications
• Facilitate discussions with cross-functional partners to align and advance projects
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for the department while driving continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or design
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive management experience is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership throughout career is preferred
