Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building security-critical root-of-trust firmware for data center systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the delivery, quality, and security posture of root-of-trust firmware from architecture through production release
• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of senior firmware and security engineers
• Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices and champion an AI-forward engineering culture

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of relevant software or firmware engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering management
• Experience managing distributed, remote-first engineering teams across multiple time zones
• Deep familiarity with modern software engineering methodologies and a genuine AI-forward mindset
• Solid technical foundation in C/C++ and embedded systems
