Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer Manager to lead a team of software engineers in implementing platform engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, managing the full employee lifecycle
• Set and uphold engineering standards, participate in architectural decisions, and champion best practices
• Collaborate with product management and other teams to deliver technical solutions and manage project execution

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack software engineering, with 2+ years in an engineering management role
• Experience with cloud-based development environments, primarily AWS
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience in automated infrastructure provisioning and continuous deployment
• Ability to provide on-call support on a rotating basis
