Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering (Resilience Engineering).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for resilience engineering, focusing on production load testing and chaos engineering
• Own the design and evolution of platforms for safe production load testing and fault injection
• Work closely with engineering teams to enable safe execution of production load tests and chaos experiments

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in reliability, infrastructure, or distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with production load testing and chaos engineering
• Strong understanding of failure modes in distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes) and observability tooling
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
