Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to oversee and scale their engineering team while actively participating in product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Spend at least one-third of time coding and building new products
• Conduct regular 1-1s, manage hiring pipelines, and perform technical interviews
• Conduct code reviews and assist engineers in deploying new features efficiently

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an engineering manager in a remote start-up environment
• Experience in the entire project development process from research to monitoring
• Fluency in written English is required; spoken English is a plus
• Ability to manage time effectively in a remote and asynchronous setting
• Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones
