Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on building foundational infrastructure, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will oversee messaging and events platforms, ensuring reliability and integration across various communication channels for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop engineering talent while overseeing performance conversations and hiring processes
• Lead the design and implementation of high-throughput email delivery services and event-driven architecture
• Coordinate cross-team messaging SDKs and ensure delivery reliability and observability within the platform

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing engineers and leading technical teams
• Strong backend development skills in a typed, compiled language such as Go or Rust
• Experience with AWS messaging and compute services, including ECS and Lambda
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging delivery domains
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of technical experience
