Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of engineers, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership across mobile applications and back-end services while driving operational excellence in a regulated medical device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across the full stack, including mobile applications and back-end web services
• Recruit, manage, coach, and motivate a team of software engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute project plans effectively

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience leading or managing software engineering teams
• 5+ years of experience developing for iOS and Android using Kotlin
• 5+ years of experience developing Java web services, with familiarity in AWS, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL preferred
• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
