Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a fully remote environment, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will drive the architecture and delivery of scalable systems for eCommerce, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration
• Set technical direction and oversee the design and delivery of reliable systems powering the eCommerce experience
• Partner with product, design, and data teams to define project roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or team lead role
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in building and scaling web and backend systems
• Experience with modern web technologies in high-traffic eCommerce environments
• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time while managing competing priorities
