Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the development of data and analytics capabilities, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will define and execute strategies for data collection, storage, and insights delivery while managing a growing team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy for the analytical data infrastructure
• Architect and own the reporting framework used by engineering teams to integrate analytics into their products
• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of data and analytics engineers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, with at least 2 years in an engineering management or technical lead role
• Proven experience designing data infrastructure on AWS, including services like Aurora PostgreSQL and Redshift
• Strong background in data modeling, ELT/ETL pipeline design, and building analytics-ready datasets
• Experience owning data pipeline observability, including monitoring and alerting for data quality issues
• Track record of hiring and developing engineers, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
