Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time salaried Software Engineering Manager will own the engineering roadmap, translate platform strategy into developer experiences, and collaborate with business stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deliver the team's vision and roadmap by combining technical expertise and leadership
• Communicate the value of the platform to engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Analyze data to help the team make informed trade-offs between capability, cost, and complexity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7 or more years of software development and management experience
• 2 or more years of experience managing a team of software engineers
• Proficiency in technical stacks including AWS, Python, Django, Kotlin, and React
• Demonstrated ability to lead internal platform initiatives from inception to production
