Job Summary

Leading a remote, high-performing product development team, the full-time salaried Software Engineering Manager will own delivery outcomes, guide technical direction, and shape team culture while collaborating with cross-functional partners in a health-tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of software engineers, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Drive Agile delivery by running sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, while maintaining a healthy backlog
• Own end-to-end delivery of engineering commitments, balancing feature delivery with technical debt and quality

Required qualifications

• 4+ years as an Engineering Manager leading Agile, remote software teams
• 5-10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally with full-stack web development and cloud technologies
• Proven track record of delivering complex software products on time with high code quality
• Strong interpersonal skills to translate technical concepts for various stakeholders
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a bonus
