Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Transformers team in a hybrid remote environment, the full-time salaried Software Engineering Manager will drive strategy and execution for next-generation cloud-based systems, mentor engineering leaders, and ensure alignment across product and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute the long-term engineering strategy for Transformers initiatives, aligning technology direction with business priorities
• Manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define priorities and present technical strategies to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering management roles
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams or a group of 7+ engineers and leaders
• Strong experience leading distributed, cloud-based product development (Azure or AWS)
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD and scalable architectures
