Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a globally distributed team, the full-time salaried Software Engineering Manager will guide engineering direction, oversee architecture decisions, and enhance the reliability and security of services on Azure Kubernetes Service.

Key responsibilities

• Guide engineering direction and make architecture decisions to shape a secure and reliable foundation for product teams
• Lead a team of software engineers, aligning stakeholders on technical direction and guiding implementation for scalable infrastructure
• Enhance engineering practices through the application of AI-enabled tools and ensure continuous improvement in system reliability and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements
