Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing Data Plane Platform team, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will oversee the design, build, and operation of a next-generation cloud platform while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8-10 software engineers, managing hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
• Drive technical execution and roadmap in collaboration with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leadership
• Ensure delivery quality and operational readiness while managing capacity, execution risks, and team responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams with a focus on performance management and team development
• 3 to 5+ years of experience delivering complex software systems in SaaS or cloud environments
• Proficiency in backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using languages such as Go, Java, C#, or Python
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
