Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions while guiding Agile practices and mentoring engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full software development life cycle, ensuring high-quality delivery that aligns with business objectives and client needs
• Provide technical leadership, guiding architecture decisions and evaluating new technologies for incorporation into solutions
• Mentor and develop software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 12+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and experience with application integration and API development
• Experience in developing cloud-native applications, with a preference for AWS experience
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum and DevOps methodologies, along with familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps and Jira
