Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will oversee the Financing Team in a remote setting, focusing on the development of financial products while ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of projects within the Financing product area, including business financing and capital-access offerings
• Mentor and guide engineers, enhancing team performance and making major design decisions for financial systems
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure responsible product development that meets regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing small to medium software engineering teams, preferably in an agile environment
• 8+ years of experience in senior engineering roles, with expertise in Microsoft .NET and SQL databases
• Strong technical background as a backend or full-stack engineer, including knowledge of distributed architecture best practices
• Experience with AI coding tools and a growth mindset towards AI-assisted development
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
