Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers in a full-time salaried role, the Software Engineering Manager will design, build, and implement software solutions while overseeing the development of new technologies and features in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop technical infrastructure and architecture plans while managing complex assignments
- Oversee the design and development of highly performant services for frontend and backend applications
- Lead, coach, and develop engineering staff to ensure successful project completion and goal achievement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience, including 2 years in a management role
- 5+ years of experience writing full-stack SaaS applications
- Proficiency in Golang, Java, JavaScript, C++/C#, or Python with a focus on Golang/Python
- Experience with databases, particularly SQL, with knowledge of Postgres being a plus
