Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will design, build, and implement software solutions while overseeing the development of new technologies and features in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex assignments and oversee the workload of the engineering team while ensuring adherence to coding and architectural standards
• Lead the design and development of high-performance services for frontend and backend applications
• Collaborate with an agile team throughout the entire software development cycle, implementing APIs and integrations with external partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in an engineering role, with at least 2 years in a management capacity
• 5+ years of experience writing full-stack SaaS applications
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, JavaScript, Terraform, C++/C#, or Python, with a strong emphasis on Golang and Python
• Experience with SOA technologies, REST services, and database knowledge (SQL required; Postgres a plus)
