Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support optimizing solutions focused on NetSuite and related technologies, the full-time Manager of Software Engineering will oversee the design, development, and integration of complex business systems, manage cross-functional projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of custom NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript while optimizing configurations for accounting and inventory management
• Plan, prioritize, and execute engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with internal standards
• Provide hands-on guidance in SuiteScript development and ensure best practices in code quality and deployment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite, including SuiteScript (2.x) and JavaScript
• Proficiency in SuiteScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and NetSuite customizations
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Git
