Job Summary

Leading a customer-facing product team, the full-time salaried Software Engineering Manager will oversee the development of a React Native mobile app and Next.js web experiences while guiding the team through an AI-native workflow transformation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the outcomes of a team of senior engineers, shaping the product roadmap and defining what to build based on data and AI capabilities
• Lead the team to develop systems that compound over time, ensuring efficient and high-quality product deliveries
• Manage performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and invest in the growth of team members while navigating changes in workflow

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, including hands-on experience as an individual contributor
• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams with a focus on team outcomes
• Experience leading an AI-native product engineering team and familiarity with product decisions based on data and experimentation
• Technical credibility in modern web or mobile product stacks, with the ability to engage in architectural discussions
• Proven track record of hiring engineers and maintaining high performance standards within the team
