Software Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to lead a specialized product team focused on building a medical imaging viewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery outcomes for the team, ensuring high-quality software is released predictably and efficiently
• Manage and support engineers, providing regular feedback, coaching, and guidance on professional development
• Stay hands-on as an engineer by contributing to features and fixes, reviewing code, and solving problems alongside other engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building cloud-based web applications
• 2+ years managing engineers or equivalent leadership experience
• Experience leading in distributed teams with strong async communication and documentation habits
• Agile/Scrum experience, including improving team processes
• Familiarity with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, Go, MongoDB, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure
