Software Engineering Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading the Cloud Integrations Team, the full-time Software Engineering Team Lead will design, develop, and maintain cloud integration features for mirrord while actively contributing to the codebase and setting the technical direction for the team in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mirrord's cloud integration features such as queue splitting and DB branching
- Actively contribute to the codebase and ensure high engineering standards are maintained
- Hire, mentor, and prioritize work for engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Rust, C++, or C
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Proven ability to debug complex, distributed systems
- Experience working in a remote-first, startup environment
