Software Engineering Team Lead
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead for a full-time remote position to guide the Cloud Integrations Team in designing, developing, and maintaining mirrord's cloud integration features while actively contributing to the codebase and driving the technical direction of the team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud integration features such as queue splitting and DB branching
- Actively contribute to the codebase while setting technical direction and maintaining high engineering standards
- Hire and mentor engineers, prioritize work, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and expansion
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Rust, C++, or C
- Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to debug complex, distributed environments
- Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first, startup environment
