Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on engineering leader, the full-time Software Engineering Team Lead will manage the Cloud Integrations Team, focusing on the design and development of mirrord's cloud integration features while actively contributing to the codebase in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud integration features such as queue splitting and DB branching
- Set the technical direction for the team, ensuring high engineering standards and effective use of AI
- Hire, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and roadmap execution
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Rust, C++, or C
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Proficient in debugging complex, distributed systems
- Experience working in a remote-first, startup environment
