Software Engineering Team Lead
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on engineering leader, the full-time Software Engineering Team Lead will guide the Cloud Integrations Team in designing, developing, and maintaining key features for mirrord, a Kubernetes development platform, while actively contributing to the codebase in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud integration features such as queue splitting and DB branching
- Set the technical direction for the team, ensuring high engineering standards and effective use of AI
- Hire, mentor, and support engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and roadmap execution
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Rust, C++, or C
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Proven ability to debug complex, distributed systems
- Experience working in a remote-first, startup environment
