Software Engineering Team Lead
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead to oversee the Cloud Integrations Team in a full-time remote role, responsible for leading the design and development of mirrord's cloud integration features while actively contributing to the codebase and setting the technical direction for the team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud integration features such as queue splitting and DB branching
- Actively contribute to the codebase while setting the technical direction and maintaining high engineering standards
- Prioritize work, unblock engineers, and drive roadmap execution in collaboration with Product and Solution Engineering teams
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Rust, C++, or C
- Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to debug complex, distributed environments
- Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first, startup environment
