Software Engineering Team Lead
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Software Engineering Team Lead will lead the Cloud Integrations Team in designing, developing, and maintaining mirrord's cloud integration features while actively contributing to the codebase in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud integration features, such as queue splitting and DB branching
- Set the technical direction for the team, maintaining high engineering standards and driving effective use of AI
- Hire and mentor engineers, prioritize work, and collaborate with Product and Solution Engineering to drive adoption and expansion
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
- At least 4 years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Rust, C++, or C
- Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Strong systems-level thinking and ability to debug complex, distributed environments
- Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first, startup environment
