Software Fraud Engineer

Job Summary

To design and build a next-generation fraud prevention platform, the full-time Software Fraud Engineer will develop real-time fraud detection systems, risk engines, and automated decision-making services in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop fraud detection systems for payments, wallets, authentication, and user activity
• Build real-time fraud pipelines and automated fraud prevention mechanisms while continuously optimizing detection accuracy
• Collaborate closely with Product, Payments, Data, and Platform teams to enhance fraud prevention strategies

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in fraud prevention, risk, or fintech systems
• Strong backend development experience with languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and large datasets
• Understanding of payment flows, authentication, and transactional systems
• Experience with machine learning models for fraud detection and knowledge of AML, KYC, or payment risk systems
